Morpheus 8

What is the Morpheus 8?

The Morpheus 8 is a device that combines microneedling with radiofrequency technology for fractional remodeling that stimulates the production of collagen, targeting the deeper layers of the skin and thus provides an exceptionally uniform result. It permanently treats marks and scars, while at the same time it improves the appearance and the texture of the skin with minimal downtime. The Morpheus 8 is a device with many small and thin needles through which radiofrequencies are channeled under the skin; thanks to the heat created by the radiofrequencies in the subcutaneous tissue, the production of collagen is enhanced, thus the growth of the cells multiplies and the regeneration of the skin begins. The skin becomes tighter and firmer, while scars and stretch marks disappear or improve significantly. The method, apart from the face and the neck, can also be applied to the body since it has tightening properties.

Is it a painless treatment?

The application is done with the use of a local anesthetic cream at least 30 minutes before the treatment. The settings of the device allow the doctor to adjust the depth of penetration of the needles into the skin, according to the needs of the treatment. The speed of the insertion of the needles makes the treatment short, reducing the trauma of the skin.

Benefits of the treatment:

  • Skin tightening
  • Improvement of dilated pores
  • Treatment of pregnancy stretch marks
  • Treatment of traumatic/post-surgical scars
  • Better skin appearance and texture

What are the results – advice after the use of Morpheus 8?

The first results are visible within a few days, while they become even more visible after three weeks. The improvement in the treated area continues from 3 to 6 months after the treatment. A few days after the application, slight redness may appear, therefore the skin in that area needs adequate hydration.

How many repetitions are needed:

The treatment is repeated 3–4 times at an interval of one month between them, depending on the needs of each patient’s skin.
