The causes of psoriasis are not known, but is believed to have a genetic component. Factors that may aggravate psoriasis is stress, withdrawal of systemic corticosteroids, excess alcohol consumption and smoking. There are many treatments available, but because of the chronic nature of it is a challenge to treat.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The treatments for psoriasis are divided into:
